Balance Training
Balance Test – This single leg balance test is used as part of the Titlist Performance Institute golf fitness evaluation. Remember when doing the test your eyes are closed, the knee has to be as high as your hip, and the test ends as soon as an part of you body moves.
Tight Rope Balance – This is an eyes closed exercise that last 60 seconds with your eyes closed. Don’t forget to have your hands close to a surface you can grab at anytime so you don’t completely lose your balance.
Single Leg balance with Shoulder Turns – This is a 60 second exercise on each leg. Move very slowly as you do the shoulder turns.
Single Balance in Golf Posture – This exercise lasts 60 seconds on each leg. You’ll improve balance as well as isometric hold strength in each leg.
